Some time ago I needed to create some more generic screens for an application to purchase cell phone credit packages.
The first step was to think of a different color from those that characterize the large operators that we know as consumers.
In 2020 I was working on the Service Design Team at Ericsson, and there I already had the opportunity to do several researches on the most diverse operators. Within the benchmarks I carried out, it was possible to find several options chosen to sequence the purchase flow of data packages, daily rates, and even recharges.
The idea here was to create a screen flow design that was cleaner and different from those studied, in order to demonstrate what are the fundamental steps for the user to purchase packages, focusing on information.
Below we can check the result of the screens:
In addition to choosing a color that differs, this type of application contains a lot of information, a lot between the lines, here I tried without being as objective as possible, focusing on good usability and continuity of the purchase flow.
